Terms of Service

This is a standard starting-point Terms of Service for Scaler Browser. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer — have it reviewed before relying on it for a commercial launch.

1. Accounts

Using Scaler Browser on Android, iOS, Windows, or Ubuntu/Debian requires a wifiscaler.com account. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate registration information.

2. Free and Pro tiers

The Free tier is ad-supported: free-tier accounts are shown ads sourced from advertisers and house ads, selected and displayed automatically. The Pro tier ($5.99/month or as otherwise listed on Pricing) removes ads and unlocks the AI Copilot feature. Subscriptions are billed via Stripe and can be cancelled at any time from your account dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Scaler Browser to violate any law, to circumvent digital rights management or content protection on any website or streaming service, or to interfere with the operation of wifiscaler.com or other users' accounts.

4. Media detection and downloads

Scaler Browser can detect and let you save publicly playable video/audio found on pages you visit. This feature does not attempt to bypass any DRM/content-protection scheme; content that is protected is flagged and cannot be downloaded through the app. You are responsible for ensuring your use of any downloaded content complies with applicable copyright law and the terms of the site you downloaded it from.

5. Advertisers

Advertisers may purchase ad placements as described on the Advertise page. Ad impressions and clicks are measured and reported to advertisers/admins in aggregate; see our Privacy Policy for what's collected.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support.

7. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

Scaler Browser is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, wifiscaler.com is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app or website.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time; continued use of Scaler Browser after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
